A day in the life of a Senior DevOps Engineer

 Your typical work week would include:

• Hands-on coding delivering great product features incrementally.

• Review code to ensure a high standard of team deliveries.

• Collaborate with other members on design, technical, and UI/UX.

• Act as a knowledgeable sparring partner on architectural and technical topics.

• Engage with the team in design thinking workshops.

• Develop, Operate, Support & Maintain the solutions you build.

What you'll need to succeed

There are only a handful of people who meet all qualifications. We care most about developers that have a track record of caring genuinely about shipping software. Either way, we want to hear from you!

• A degree in Computer Science or similar or equivalent work experience.

• Deep knowledge of relevant web application technologies.

• Experience with AWS, Serverless, React, TypeScript, No-SQL.

• Experience with developing and operating a Serverless API / distributed micro-service system.

• Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

• High standard of work and natural role model for more junior developers.

• Great verbal and written English communication skills.

• Passion for creating innovative products with a great user experience.

• AWS certification such as DevOps or Solution Architect is a big plus.

If the above doesn’t fit you, then maybe some of the following does:

• Familiarity with any of the following: serverless, microservices, Docker, GraphQL, CI/CD, SQL, and NoSQL, Git.

• Experience with React.

• Experience building, operating, and maintaining scalable services.

• Experience with open-source contributions.
